This shoe was designed to be a tool in your rotation and a supplement to your favorite daily trainer. In a world of high stack marshmallow trainers, we believe a simplified shoe can add extreme value to diversifying your routine. Its ultra lightweight, designed to enhance proprioception with a rubber outsole delete, and gets you grounded in your routine. Some say this shoe is one of the most unique running products in the market, but we see it as an important choice for your weekly rotation.

Use in your rotation: 1-10 mile runs, fine-tuning your running form, track intervals, cross training

Experience level: Intermediate, advanced, elite

Sizing recommendation: Many athletes agree that the Base Model fits "true to size", but if you are in between sizes in various brands, we recommend opting for the larger of the two. Feel free to email us with your questions prior to ordering: this is especially true for international purchases due to our international "final sale" policy.

• Weight (single): 6oz (M9/W10.5)

• Drop: 6mm heel-to-toe offset

• Stack height: 21.5mm heel / 15mm forefoot

• Neutral: No added support for over-pronation

• Midsole: Featuring Atreyu's lightweight EVA compound for added comfort, durability, and balanced responsiveness

• Outsole: The rubber-less outsole is designed to maximize a runner's gait by increasing the feel of the terrain.

• Upper: New enhanced 3D mesh construction for longer life but unlike the Daily Trainer, the Base Model does NOT include a heel counter.

• Tongue: Perforated microfiber material with foam backing for added breathability and a new gusset for extra lockdown in version 3.

• Sock liner: New molded eTPU material with a 5mm footbed for added bounce and long-lasting comfort

Estimated mileage: 150+ miles contingent upon running form, running surfaces, training plan (usage).

The Base Model was designed to increase proprioception (perception or awareness of the position and movement of the body). Removing the outsole is a critical component of this shoe's design to achieve this goal.

Thus, we recommend using this shoe in your rotation every second day to prolong the lifespan while resetting your stride.
